- A meaningful contribution to environmental outcomes connected to the Brampton community
Examples of Achievement
Nominees may demonstrate excellence through:
- Energy efficiency improvements, emissions reduction, or renewable energy adoption
- Waste diversion, circular economy initiatives, or material reuse programs
- Environmentally responsible sourcing or sustainable supply chain practices
- Development of sustainable products, services, or packaging solutions
- Investment in green technologies or environmentally innovative processes
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, nominees must:
- Demonstrate a clear commitment to environmental sustainability through policies, initiatives, or operational practices
- Provide evidence of measurable environmental outcomes or improvements
- Show that sustainability is integrated into business strategy or long-term planning
- Nominees must have substantial business operations within the City of Brampton and/or be a member in good standing of the Brampton Board of Trade.
- Nominees must agree to attend the awards gala and participate in promotional activities if selected as finalists.
- Members of the Brampton Board of Trade Board of Directors (and their employees), staff, and participating partners are not eligible for nomination.
