This award is best suited for a business or organization that demonstrates:

  • Investment in employee growth, development, and career progression 
  • Inclusive and equitable workplace practices 
  • Leadership in creating a supportive and high-performing work environment 

Examples of Achievement 

Nominees may demonstrate excellence through: 

  • Employee development, training, or upskilling programs 
  • Mentorship, leadership development, or career advancement pathways 
  • Inclusive hiring, retention, and promotion practices 
  • Employee wellness, recognition, or engagement initiatives 
  • Strong retention rates, employee satisfaction scores, or internal promotion outcomes 
  • Innovative workplace policies that support flexibility, well-being, and work-life balance 

Eligibility Requirements 

To be considered, nominees must: 

  • Be an employer with employees working within or connected to the Brampton community 
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to employee development, engagement, and well-being 
  • Provide evidence of a positive workplace culture and employee experience 
  • Show leadership in inclusion, workplace innovation, or talent development 
  • Nominees must agree to attend the awards gala and participate in promotional activities if selected as finalists.
  • Members of the Brampton Board of Trade Board of Directors (and their employees), staff, and participating partners are not eligible for nomination.
