Requirements

Ideal Nominee Profile 

This award is best suited for a business that demonstrates: 

  • A strong commitment to community involvement and social impact 
  • Active participation in philanthropic, volunteer, or community initiatives 
  • Leadership in addressing social challenges or supporting underserved groups 
  • A culture of giving back embedded within the organization 
  • Meaningful contributions to the Brampton community beyond core business operations 

Examples of Achievement 

Nominees may demonstrate excellence through: 

  • Long-term support of community programs, charities, or local initiatives 
  • Employee volunteer programs or company-led community initiatives 
  • Strategic partnerships with non-profits, community groups, or social organizations 
  • Fundraising campaigns or advocacy efforts that create measurable impact 
  • Initiatives that strengthen community connection, inclusion, and well-being 

Eligibility Requirements 

To be considered, nominees must: 

  • Be a for-profit business or organization 
  • Demonstrate a history of community involvement, philanthropy, or volunteerism 
  • Provide evidence of measurable impact through community initiatives or partnerships 
  • Serve or support the Brampton community 
  • Nominees must have substantial business operations within the City of Brampton and/or be a member in good standing of the Brampton Board of Trade.
  • Nominees must agree to attend the awards gala and participate in promotional activities if selected as finalists.
  • Members of the Brampton Board of Trade Board of Directors (and their employees), staff, and participating partners are not eligible for nomination.
