This award is best suited for a business or organization that demonstrates: 

  • Strong and efficient production systems 
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence 
  • Investment in workforce training, safety, and development 
  • Consistently high standards in product quality and reliability 
  • A measurable contribution to supply chains or economic activity connected to Brampton 

Examples of Achievement 

Nominees may demonstrate excellence through: 

  • Implementation of automation, advanced manufacturing technologies, and/or process optimization 
  • Measurable improvements in production efficiency, throughput, or cost reduction 
  • Industry certifications (ISO, quality standards) or strong quality assurance systems 
  • Workforce development initiatives such as training programs or apprenticeships 
  • Operational improvements that reduce waste, improve sustainability, or increase productivity 

Eligibility Requirements 

To be considered, nominees must: 

  • Operate within the manufacturing, production, or industrial processing sector 
  • Demonstrate measurable operational performance, efficiency, or quality outcomes 
  • Serve customers, supply chains, or economic activity connected to the Brampton community 
  • Nominees must have substantial business operations within the City of Brampton and/or be a member in good standing of the Brampton Board of Trade.
  • Nominees must agree to attend the awards gala and participate in promotional activities if selected as finalists.
  • Members of the Brampton Board of Trade Board of Directors (and their employees), staff, and participating partners are not eligible for nomination.
